“Very spacious, quiet and relaxing, good base for nearby attractions and days out.”

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Mottisfont and the New Forest national park only a short drive away. Enjoyed a few frames of snooker, although my game didn't improve to professional level in the weeks stay! Thanks Roger :-)

The light and airy interior of this detached Whiteparish holiday cottage offers families or groups of friends a very different, yet comfortable holiday experience.

The spacious open plan living area containing a kitchen, dining area and sitting area of this Whiteparish holiday cottage was created from the 1903 memorial school, retaining its wooden floors and row of children's coat pegs, whilst the body of the chapel features the original pulpit and combines not only a further sitting area but also offers a full size snooker table, table tennis, table football, keyboard and piano!

A great social space for all the family to enjoy!

Outside, there is a small rear patio area.

Conveniently situated, this Whiteparish cottage is just a short stroll from the well-stocked local shop, Post Office and friendly village pub, ideal for taking refreshment after your busy day exploring.

This Whiteparish holiday cottage benefits from good local transport links, which take you to many places of interest; visit Lord Mountbatten's Broadlands estate, admire Mottisfont Abbey, Salisbury and Winchester cathedrals or Stonehenge.

Explore the picturesque New Forest National Park, whilst the younger members of your group will enjoy Paultons Family Theme Park or The Rapids in Romsey.

About the location

WHITEPARISH

Salisbury 8 miles; Romsey 8 miles.

The charming village of Whiteparish lies on the Wiltshire side of the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, a short drive south from the majestic city of Salisbury and north of the pleasant Hampshire country town of Romsey, famous for the 'Broadlands' house and estate belonging to the Mountbatten family. The village offers inns and a thriving local shop, whilst just a short drive takes you to the National Trust's Pepperbox Hill, from where there are magnificent views towards Salisbury and scenic walks. Alternatively, explore the picturesque New Forest National Park, where wild ponies and cattle roam freely. Visit the magnificent cathedral cities of Salisbury or Winchester, both easily accessible from Whiteparish, or travel a little further afield and take a trip to Southampton, where a day trip to the Isle of Wight may tempt you, or just spend a lazy day watching the busy boating scene.
