    “Having found this property very last minute in the lead up to Christmas, we were astounded by how beautiful & peaceful the park was and how comfortable and well kept the caravan was.”

    It was a lovely touch to have found a Christmas Tree in the caravan upon arrival and arriving on Christmas Eve, meant it felt very cosy and Christmassy. The overall cleanliness was very good and the decor in the caravan was nice and homely and clearly a very well maintained property. The location is beautiful and worked perfectly for us as we wanted to be near to family in Presteigne for Christmas. The park itself is just amazing and we absolutely loved taking the dog out for walks, especially ...

SHOBDON

Hereford 17 miles; Leominster 6 miles.

The pleasant village of Shobdon lies between the historic market towns of Leominster and Presteigne, and is surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside, close to the Welsh borderlands. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Shobdon has a village shop, an excellent pub/restaurant, and even a private airfield, providing a rare opportunity to learn how to fly helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Leominster, dating back to the 7th century possesses some fine examples of architecture including the Priory Church, along with a wide selection of shops, cafes, antiques centres and pubs - an ideal place to spend an afternoon. Close by are many National Trust properties including Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, plus the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the renowned Shropshire Discovery Centre and the Acton Scott Historic Farm.
