Located on a main road in the heart of Tewkesbury is Burrows Court, a fantastic first and second floor property, accessed via an alleyway between the cottage and the museum next door.

This property is ideal for a small family or couple wanting to explore the incredible countryside, idyllic villages and remarkably well-preserved buildings the Cotswolds has to offer.

Access the main entrance at the back of the property, via the alleyway, where you will find a large and enclosed shared courtyard garden, offering multiple seating areas, including a shed that has been converted into a 'pub' with cinema-style folding chairs, so you can enjoy some fresh air no matter the weather.

Enter the property at ground floor level, hanging your coat on one of the provided hooks and kicking off your shoes, before heading up the staircase to the main accommodation.

Discover a contemporary well-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances to support your self-catering needs, while the utility hosts a washing machine, should you need to clean any clothes after a day's hike.

Dinner can be enjoyed together at the dining table in the living/room, where traditional meets contemporary with beams, an exposed brick fireplace and original doors, plus the modern convenience of a Smart TV, which can be switched on for a family film night to round off the day.

When it's time to catch up on rest, move up to the second floor to the king-size double, which offers access to the small twin room via a set of steps across a large beam.

The twin room rests under sloping ceilings and would be most suitable for children, while adults can retain full privacy by drawing the large curtain at the end of the bed.

Tewkesbury boasts some of the most remarkable architecture in the UK, with more than 350 listed buildings, plus a host of Black & White, half-timbered Tudor and Medieval character buildings.

Visit the 12th century Norman abbey which dominates the town and if you visit in summer, you may catch a glimpse of the re-enacted 1471 final battle of the 1471 War of the Roses at the Medieval Fayre, which takes place in July.

Discover a great selection of traditional pubs, restaurants and tea rooms within walking distance, perfect for when you wish to enjoy a night away from the kitchen, while a number of shops allow you to pick up any essentials and country and farmers' markets are held regularly for picking up delicious local produce.
