“Fabulous retreat in the quiet and friendly village of Eckington.”
Hosts (Guy and Nattaya) are very welcoming and on hand if needed (but don't intrude at all).
Lovely garden, with a newly-created, little fenced area for guests to use (though Guy and Nattaya were kind enough to show us round the main garden and encourage us to use that, too).
The cottage was immaculate, and has everything needed for a relaxing, fully-equipped holiday. The listing warned that wi-fi can be patchy; but, with very few occasional and brief blips, we experienced no problems.
Trains pass by the end of the garden, but are only noticeable because, otherwise, the only sounds are bird songs!
Parking is on local roads -- but we easily found a spot (with Guy's helpful suggestion) just 20 yards or so away, which we had no problem using when we returned each evening from our excursions.
This is a fabulous location for days out in the Cotswolds, or simply for hiding away from the world for a chilled, pleasant holiday.
Needless to say, we shall be returning.
Very highly recommended.
