The property

A 20 foot yurt with hot tub set in a secluded and idyllic location on its own island, overlooking the owner's fishing lake on the edge of the village of Beckford, close to the border with Gloucester, in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

One of four on this peaceful site, yet set apart on a separate lake, this unique yurt is perfect for a special romantic break in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Providing ground floor accommodation with a cosy mezzanine bedroom overlooking the living area, this charming holiday home has been thoughtfully built.

The property is furnished to a high standard, including a fitted kitchen, sauna, projector and screen and a king-size bed from where films can be enjoyed.

Outside, the veranda provides the perfect place to relax in the peace and tranquillity of the area, unwind in the luxury of the hot tub, light the barbecue for an alfresco feast or simply sit back with a glass of wine by the warming firepit.

The village of Beckford, less than ten minutesÂ’ stroll away, is home to a country pub serving excellent food, a village shop and a Post Office.

The charming villages of the Cotswolds can all be enjoyed within a short drive including Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold, as can the attractive spa town of Cheltenham, and a selection of National Trust estates and fine buildings.

The pretty village of Beckford boasts many amenities, with an excellent country inn, Norman church and nature reserve, in one of the most unspoilt areas of England. The village sits on the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border, close to the old market town of Evesham, famous for its horticulture.
