Cows roam freely on the common in the summer months and can often be seen wandering through the village.

Box is a perfect base for exploring the local area, with Gatcombe a 5 minute drive, and Cheltenham, Bath and Bristol all less than an hour's drive away.

There are also great rail connections from Stroud to London, Cheltenham and Gloucester.

The village of Box is located in Gloucestershire, a small, picturesque village, with plenty of charm. Minchinhampton is the nearest town, about one mile away, and offers a selection of shops, award-winning tea rooms, a newsagent and general store, pub, restaurant, post office, and several other small retail outlets.
