“As is inevitable with a shepherd's hut, space is limited, so the hut is best suited to shorter, slimmer visitors.”

Tall and/or stouter visitors might find some aspects more challenging, such as the shower enclosure. The property was very clean and adequately equipped for two guests. The bed was comfortable, but a bit of a challenge for those of us who need to get up during the night to visit the toilet! The bed was comfortable, but a bit of a challenge for those of us who need to get up during the night to visit the toilet! The previous occupants had damaged one of the blinds (above the bed) and we were told this would be repaired during our stay, but that did not happen. Nonetheless, we were very comfortable and the hut suited our purposes more than adequately (we were visiting our daughter and her family in nearby Faringdon). We would certainly stay again in future. Uffington is a very attractive village with many thatched houses and an excellent community general stor.

Thank you Frank for your feedback and pleasing to hear some positive points in there.Yes unfortunately Shepard huts are quite confined but these are some of the largest out there on the market being 22ft long and 7ft 6inch wide which all of our guests so far have been surprised and more than pleased with after all they are Shepard huts!Sorry the blind did no get fixed but I did call up to you on 2 occasions but you were out and unfortunately I did not have a number to call as one was not left on the booking.Apart from the blinds I’m pleased the hut suited your needs and you enjoyed your stay with us. Many thanks Johnny and the team Property Owner
