These period features are complemented by modern facilities, including wireless internet access, a Smart TV with DVD player, and a well presented kitchen.
Tucked away in the heart of Snowshill, Willow Vale overlooks the beautiful village church of St Barnabas, and is a short walk away from the ‘Snowshill Arms’, a popular country inn.
Located within the village is Snowshill Manor, now owned by the National Trust, which houses thousands of objects collected by Charles Paget Wade in the early 20th century, and there are also beautiful gardens to explore.
This chocolate-box village sits atop the escarpment above the villages of Broadway, Buckland and Laverton and allows visitors to enjoy the glorious countryside, open vistas and lovely woodlands which fall within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Snowshill is close to the popular Cotswold market towns of Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh and Winchcombe and has many stunning countryside walks right on its doorstep.
Willow Vale is a terraced cottage overlooking the village church.
The front door opens into an entrance hall, which leads to the following open plan areas:
Living room: A beautiful room with a wood burning stove and exposed beams.
There are two sofas and a Smart TV with DVD player;
Kitchen/dining room: A stylish sideboard separates the dining area from the living room.
The dining area has a wooden dining table with seating for six, and the kitchen has an electric oven, four-ring induction hob, built-in microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle.
There is also a washing machine/tumble dryer.
Stairs lead up from the living area to the first floor, off which are the following rooms:
Bedroom 2: An elegantly decorated room with king size bed, co-ordinating bedside table and chest of drawers, storage cupboard and armchair;
Bedroom 3: With views to the back garden, this room has full size bunk beds (suitable for adults) and a chest of drawers;
Family bathroom: Contains a walk-in shower, bath, toilet and wash basin.
Further stairs lead up to the top floor and the following room:
Master bedroom: Located in the eaves, this beautiful room contains a king size bed and dressing table overlooking the church and village green.
There are two chests of drawers and additional space for hanging clothes.
From the kitchen, the back door opens onto a shared space with steps up to a small garden.
From here, a path leads behind outbuildings to the large, private garden with stunning countryside views.
In additional to a picnic bench and seating for eight, there is a children’s play area.
Off street parking is available for one car next to the garage and there is further on street parking available in the village.
