    Very nice little extras. All that we required. As we used it as a base we did not have time to use the Hot Tub, shame. Can certainly recommend it.

This is a lovely cottage in a quiet location and ideal for those wanting to explore this popular area.

The cottage has an open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen and dining area, with a sitting area having a woodburning stove to snuggle up in front of, if the weather gets colder.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, both of which have a TV and there is also a family shower room.

Outside, there is a private patio, where you can put your feet up and enjoy this stunning part of the country, ideal for the country loving holiday maker.

Great Tew, often described as one of England's prettiest villages is full of character cottages and has an excellent pub and a village shop.

Chipping Norton is really interesting and has numerous historic buildings.

Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all close by.

Alternatively, take a trip to the riverside town of Banbury, Blenheim Palace or the university city of Oxford.

The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick, with its magnificent castle, also make great family days out.

The picture postcard village of Great Tew, often described as one of the prettiest villages in England is full of attractive cottages, most of them thatched, situated in a delightful landscaped setting. The village is steeped in history, from its Roman origins, through to the Civil War and the Industrial Revolution, and now belongs to the Great Tew Estate. The village is now a lively and welcoming community with a well-known pub, The Falkland Arms, serving excellent food and real ale. There is also a village shop and small café. Great Tew Park hosts various events throughout the year including the well-known Cornbury Music Festival which is held early in July. Nearby Little Tew is an attractive village of traditional Cotswold stone cottages and others built in the local honey coloured ironstone. Five miles away is the ancient town of Chipping Norton, steeped in history and culture, and set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Chipping Norton boasts a popular weekly market, numerous book and antique shops, many cafes, restaurants and pubs serving excellent food and local ales, art galleries, a museum and a thriving theatre. Nearby is Blenheim Palace and Oxford which offers good shopping, riverside walks and guided tours of the magnificent university buildings and historic halls.
