“House was lovely and warm and clean on arrival.”

Rooms were adequate for our needs. The house was cold Christmas day as heating did not come on, I assume controlled remotely, we made necessary call, but no direct communication with us. This was uncomfortable for one 92 year old guest. However heating did return on the 26th, although two radiators upstairs did not work. The cutlery was lacking 5 forks and 4 knives, for 6 people, good thing we travelled with our own! The bins were not emptied, one was full the other half full. Improvements, ...

This was uncomfortable for one 92 year old guest. However heating did return on the 26th, although two radiators upstairs did not work. The cutlery was lacking 5 forks and 4 knives, for 6 people, good thing we travelled with our own! The bins were not emptied, one was full the other half full. Improvements, shower curtain unhygienic as this was dirty at the bottom we had to tie this up, longer shower screen would be better. Property is in need of painting in some areas. Nice quiet area, adequate parking. Location quiet far from main shopping mall, but easy to find. Overall we enjoyed our stay, would come again.

About the location

BEDWORTH

Nuneaton 3.5 miles; Coventry 5.2 miles.

The market town of Bedworth sits in the borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth, Warwickshire. It is situated 6 miles to Coventry and 3 miles to Nuneaton. This Northern Warwickshire town has some of the best transport links in the country, including main lines to London, Birmingham and Coventry. Whilst still thought by many as an ex-coal mining area, it formed an important part of the 19th century silk ribbon weaving industry of Coventry and North Warwickshire. Today, the town offers a range of independent shops and eateries along its high street. The nearby city of Coventry has plenty to see and do, from music scenes theatre and festivals, to museums and medieval history, offering something for a family of all ages and tastes.
