    “Beautiful cottage in a beautiful peaceful location with fantastic views.”

    If you enjoy solitude this is the place to stay. Lovely bonus was the lovely welcome pack. Lots of information in the cottage on local places to visit and walks you can do. Great sitting in the hot tub watching the swallows and listening to the sounds of the birds. Saw bats at night while watching the sunset. Roads up to the cottage very narrow with very few passing places luckily very quiet and we managed only to bump into one car in the whole week. Ok for my husband but I am not confident in ...

Ok for my husband but I am not confident in reversing any great distance especially around blind corners. No shop or pub in walking distance, we did find a circular walk with the dog across the fields, lots of sheep again stunning scenery. We got off to a bad start with the owners who live on site. We travelled with our 2 sons aged 33 and 35. It was my sons birthday and his best friend and wife and 10 week old baby lived 50 mins away so we invited them and his parents (pensioners) who lived 40 mins in the opposite direction for a bbq. Nowhere on the listing did it say you couldn’t invite day visitors we didn’t know that this was a rule or in the terms and conditions? I booked using the Sykes App and have looked again but can’t see anything about this? Apart from this misunderstanding probably on our behalf owners were very helpful and there if you needed any help or advice

Guests do need to be pre authorised to prevent any insurance issues should there be an incident as our insurance will only apply to booked and authorised guests.This is in Sykes cottages terms and conditions which I understand are extensive and so easily missed. Tenbury Wells is a charming, ancient market town situated on the banks of the River Teme in Worcestershire. Dating back to the Iron Age and said to have been called 'my little town in the orchard' by Queen Victoria, Tenbury Wells boasts a unique 18th century bridge built by Thomas Telford, the magnificent Pump Rooms, which housed baths where local mineral water was available, and many other listed buildings dating back to the 17th century. This bustling town has many individual shops, traditional pubs, cafes and tea rooms and plays host to many festivals throughout the year notably the Applefest in October and Holly and Mistletoe around Christmas. It is home to weekly craft and farmers’ markets and a fully restored Art Deco cinema with a full programme of events. Ludlow, with its famous castle, is one of the most beautiful towns in Britain offers a medieval street pattern, which remains almost intact and provides an amazing backdrop for the town's regular markets. Renowned for its shopping, Ludlow also has high quality restaurants, excellent tea shops and pubs.
