Graham “We had a lovely vacation and what a great cottage Campion cottage is.”
Me and the wife spent the two weeks exploring the beautiful area of the Cotswolds with so much to see and do. The cottage had everything we needed and the welcoming provisions were very grateful. We would look at the cottage again when in the area.

Jacqueline “A delightful cottage with two lovely gardens for our sole use.”
Neighbours and community in this village very friendly and welcoming. We were able to visit National Trust homes and gardens as well as Blenheim Palace and Kiftsgate Garden using the cottage as our base. A really quaint home from home. Thank you Alan (owner) for the very helpful complimentary supplies.
- Jacqueline, May 2024David “Very well equipped and very comfortable.”

Joseph “Had a lovely holiday in the Cotswolds staying at Campion Cottage.”
The village of Willersey is lovely and perfectly located to explore the Cotswolds. Campion Cottage was perfect, we loved it - having two sunny gardens back & front is a bonus and we enjoyed both of them as the weather was very good.
- Joseph, June 2023Thanks for the kind review Joseph! I'm pleased you enjoyed the cottage and made the most of the gardens and location! Property Owner
sarah “Beautiful cosy cottage in a pretty village.”
Well equipped and extra firewood available across the road from the garage. The beds are quite firm . The pillows need an upgrade- especially the softer ones which feel quite worn. The firm pillows are extremely firm! The green sofa is extremely uncomfortable but the grey one is very comfy. We liked the remote control for the sitting room lights. Plenty of books and games.! Sweet front garden and rear courtyard. Watch your head on bathroom /bedroom doorway! A great base for exploring the Cotswolds.
- sarah, March 2023Though it's been a while since your stay, I just wanted to say that based on your feedback, the pillows have been replaced. Also I appreciate that the green sofa wasn't the most comfortable (never buy a sofa you've not sat on). This has now also been replaced and the new blue one is very comfortable! Property Owner
Jenene “A lovely cosy and homely cottage.”
One or two cleaning errors but overall clean. Campian cottage is situated in a very picturesque village and makes an excellent base for touring the Cotswolds.
- Jenene, March 2023David “We loved every minute of our stay at Campion Cottage.”
For us it was a perfect place to stay for visiting family who live nearby. The owner has put a lot of thought into making guests feel welcome on arrival...easy instructions for everything in the cottage. Lots of info for places to visit as well for guests new to visiting the Cotswolds. Everything we needed was there & more so cosy & immaculately clean. We were so sad to leave & hope to be able to have the pleasure of staying here again soon !
- David, November 2022Susan “This delightful cottage is in an ideal location for exploring the Cotswolds.”
Champion Cottage is so well equipped, warm & very comfortable. Willersey is a lovely quiet village. The New Inn is a must for the evening meal... ..nothing posh but worth working your way through the menu ! Prices most acceptable. Towns & surrounding villages are all within easy reach. Ideal for walking too.
- Susan, October 2022Janet “A lovely property and very well equipped!”
- Janet, September 2022Nicholas “Excellent property.”
everything you would want in a holiday cottage. full marks all round.
- Nicholas, September 2022Richard “Excellent property.”
We were lucky to have the benefit of a stone cottage during the hottest days on record. Sleeping at night was not a problem. We are considering booking again for a different time of the year to revisit the gardens again. Dining out and walking in the area is very good. Perfect base for visiting all of the little villages in the area. Willersey is lovely and the locals very chatty.
- Richard, July 2022Malcolm “Campion Cottage was well equipped, beautifully furnished and decorated and is well situated for walks and sight-seeing in the north Cotswolds.”
The set of laminated walking maps proved to be very useful. We had a wonderful stay!

The attention to detail of decor (including Christmas) and everything else is so carefully thought through. It's tasteful, beautiful but also cosy. The welcome pack was generous and much-appreciated. We very much hope to pay it another visit quite soon!
- Karen, December 2021Roy “The cottage was lovely.”
It was well equipped with plenty of instructions on how to operate everything.
- Roy, November 2021Valerie “We were apprehensive after the disappointment of the place we stayed in July in Cornwall, which was dirty & far from Sykes normal standard.”
We did take pictures of that place & complained but never had any follow up afterwards. Anyway, Campion cottage was everything & more. Put our faith back in Sykes cottages. Perfect in everyday. So clean & well equipped. Thankyou & we hope to go back sometime.
- Valerie, October 2021Michael “Second stay in this lovely cottage, great location in a beautiful village.”
- Michael, June 2021Elizabeth “This is the second time we have stayed in Campion Cottage - we just love it.”
Fabulous cottage, beautifully decorated - with everything you need for a break away from home. As it was December, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it had some Christmas decorations, which added to the homely feel. It is perfectly located for touring around the Cotswolds - we will be back again I am sure.
- Elizabeth, December 2020Chris “I like the area and have stayed at that property previously it is warm and well equipped”
- Chris, October 2020Jacques “Very well equipped and comfortable, located in a charming village and a beautiful region, the place is ideal for some visits and walks in northern Cotswolds.”
Lovely cottage, ideal for a family with 2 adults & 2 children, a bit small for a long stay for 4 adults. A lot of documentation provided by the owner. We appreciated the surprising welcome pack ;-) Two Inns nearby, supermarkets in Broadway (small) and Evesham (larger).
- Jacques, November 2019Ruth “The cottage was lovely, very very well equipped and comfortable (apart from the green sofa which we all avoided!”
) beds were comfortable, lovely and warm and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. One thing was the cottage states no pets but some of the reviews were from people who stayed with a dog? so this should be clear as we needed a cottage that didn't allow dogs. We had a really good time and all felt relaxed there. Log burner was really lovely but we couldn't find anywhere within walking distance to get logs - we did bring plenty from home which was good. Generally a great little place and we will return!
- Ruth, November 2019Barbara “This has been the best holiday cottage we have stayed at !”
! clean comfortable and well equipped. A beautiful quiet location with plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. There are two pubs in the village to choose from too !!

- Martin, May 2019Marie “Absolutely stunning cottage in a true chocolate box location.”
The cottage fair exceeded expectations - it is better than my house! :-) Amazing decor and fabulous "extras" as well as fantastic communication from the owner. I will be going back for another break for sure!

- Peter, September 2018Philip “The cottage was well equipped clean and comfortable with a nice welcome pack, the one small down side to the cottage was the space around the beds was tight.”
- Philip, July 2018Annelies “Campion Cottage was for us an excellent place to explore the Cotswolds by walking, visiting beautiful gardens, historic villages and towns and historic monuments.”
The Cottage met all our expectations with all facilities we needed and more! A nice front and back garden to sit and relax after our walks, a cosy living room, complete kitchen, excellent bath room and very good bed! We gladly recommand this Cottage and hope to come again.
- Annelies, June 2018Denis “This cottage was a little more expensive than the ones we usually stay in.”
Maybe Sykes have a better type of cottage or more likely we've had dogs with us a lot so we have chosen a more basic accommodation. However this was a proper little cottage in a typical Cotswold village. Even had roses around the door. The stars at night were an option if you forgot to duck into the bedrooms and bathroom. Very nicely furnished and the pictures and ornaments gave it a homely feel. Kitchen had everything we could need. If you're visiting the Cotswolds this village is an ideal base and you would find it difficult to get a better cottage.
- Denis, June 2018Danielle “Great cottage!”
Amazing location with serene countryside and gorgeous views! The cottage was very clean and spacious with everything you could need (including a few goodies left for us!) Overall amazing cottage anf perfect getaway
- Danielle, May 2018Diana “Very comfortable and welcoming, a home from home.”
- Diana, April 2018Tim “We are always pleased that you offer properties where no pets are allowed - not everyone likes the thought of them having been all over the place!”
Also, nice to be in a village with pubs and shop within easy walking distance. We appreciated the local maps and info on the area and found that the accommodation exactly suited our needs - extremely well appointed in all respects. Many thanks.

It was wonderful.
- Jessica, October 2016David “First-rate cottage in a very friendly village, just off the main tourist area but very convenient for both the Cotswolds and Stratford.”
This is one of the nicest and best equipped cottages we have ever been in. The cottage is a blend of old-world charm and modern convenience which has been carried out very tastefully and successfully. It has a lovely little outside sitting area with a gas barbecue. There is good off-road parking for a small car The village itself is pleasant, with two pubs serving food, a shop with a small tearoom, and a petrol station.

Everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated/furnished. There was a lovely welcome pack which was very thoughtful of the owner.
