The property

Situated centrally within the riverside town of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, is The Coach House, a sympathetically converted 16th century coach house, offering a characterful base for a romantic or well-earned break.

All of the town centre amenities, including a host of eateries, pubs, historic al landmarks, and the river Avon, are a short stroll away.

The Tudor buildings and charming streets and alleys are within moments of The Coach House, which offers guests a modern environment, private parking, all providing a comfortable self-catered stay; where your furry friend is also welcome to join you.

Park up on the private driveway before entering the open-plan living space, where you can rustle up delicious meals, and relax in front of the Smart TV, or if you'd prefer, head outdoors for an invigorating walk along the ‘Riverside Walk’ before lighting the BBQ.

Refresh in either the ground-floor shower room, or climb the spiral staircase to the second bathroom.

Settling into the the plush king-size bed, with beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork, lofty eaves, and a balcony, all adding to the charm of the cosy and peaceful bedroom.

On your doorstep you'll find plenty of popular restaurants and pubs, including the lively Nottingham Arms and the Brittania as well as the more refined Gupshill Manor a short drive away.

Nearby are numerous shops and supermarkets to stock up on the essentials, with a local Tesco within walking distance.

The town has two theatres, Tewkesbury Museum, and the stunning Tewkesbury Abbey, for a taste of culture.

Further afield head towards the elegant Regency town of Cheltenham, where you can take a stroll around Montpellier Gardens, tour the many art galleries and museums or take in a performance at the theatre before dining at one of the town’s fine restaurants. Alternatively attend one of the race days or events held at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Gloucester, also nearby, offers the historic Docks and the magnificent cathedral, before exploring the Malvern Hills AONB or venturing further to the Cotswolds AONB.
