“We had a really lovely stay thank you.”

The cottage is perfect for 6 with plenty of room. Spacious bedrooms and the beds/linen were very comfy. Downstairs being open plan was a brilliant social area ... and lovely with the log burner. It was perfect for our get together and would definitely recommend. Just wanted to mention a couple of bits though .... 1)We had a very bad smell in the downstairs bedroom ... we found a dead bird in there (not sure how long it had been there but it was smelling very bad so might have been overlooked ...

It was perfect for our get together and would definitely recommend. Just wanted to mention a couple of bits though .... 1)We had a very bad smell in the downstairs bedroom ... we found a dead bird in there (not sure how long it had been there but it was smelling very bad so might have been overlooked when last cleaned that it was there). 2)One of us went out the top exit area to see where we would need to go in the event of a fire. It is very very slippy and she fell down and hurt her self quite badly. You need to put something down on this area to ensure it is safe to walk on .... it could have been a lot worse. 3)Despite the directions it is pretty hard to find! You cannot see the house ... could you not put a stone outside with solar lights to have at least a light there and also a sign because at night it is even more difficult to find .. we were having to go out and shine our mobile torch lights to direct them to the gate. The gate (which is open so you can't see anyway) only says FMB (or FMH ... can't remember the initials you have put) .. but i would recommend putting the whole of the name of the house on the sign.
