“Absolutely fabulous place to stay, warm, spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and in a beautiful village.”

Walks straight from the doorstep which we thoroughly enjoyed. The surrounding towns and villages were within easy access and we had a wonderful time exploring on our first visit to the Cotswolds. Our hosts were so helpful and informative, would give this place 10 stars if we could.

Had everything you would need. Nice sitting out on decking of an evening too. We were lucky with the weather but unlucky with the nearby pub as was closed due to changing hands. Short Drive to other pubs / restaurants ten mins max. The silence of an evening was just perfect.

The cottage is in a lovely location with off road parking which we liked. As soon as we walked up the steps and looked inside we were impressed with the size of the rooms, the cleanliness and quality of the fittings. The cottage is in a good position to visit many places with Bristol being just an hour away, that said it is set in some lovely woods and would be ideal for anyone who enjoys walking.

The pretty village of Cranham lies in the westerly fold of the beautiful Cotswolds hills, adjoining ancient beech woodlands and Cranham Common, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest with evidence of the largest Iron Age Fort in Europe. The whole area is surrounded by stunning countryside and offers excellent walks and bridleways, with the Cotswold Way very close by.
