    “We had a lovely 4 night stay in the cottage.”

    We fell in love with it for the second we stepped into the property - clean, nice cosy and spacious. Tge beds in both rooms are comfortable and we had good sleeps. A couple of minors could be improved - a small bin in downstairs bath room would be convenient. The table lamp in twin room doesn't have a switch on the lead but use socket switch, which is hidden behind bedside table. Hence it is very inconvenient for the night. These minors don't impact our stay at all and we will have no problem ...

Tinkley Cottage is one of the four tastefully presented cottages situated in the charming village of Nympsfield near Nailsworth, amidst the scenery of Gloucestershire.

This welcoming barn conversion boasts characterful features such as the exposed beams and natural limestone flooring throughout the ground floor.

After a day of exploring, look forward to sinking into the leather sofas and catching up on your favourite TV shows by the woodburner.

The kitchen comes well-equipped with an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a dishwasher, so there’s no need to lift a finger when washing up!

After a filling feast, step out to enjoy a moment in the garden while the sun sets over the village, planning on where to visit next.

Wash away the day in the bathroom or shower room, before retiring to either the double or twin bedroom to catch some rest.

Tinkley Cottage is a welcoming abode, well-placed for discovering the delights of Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.

The WWT Wildfowl and Wetland Trust in Slimbridge is also close by with an exceptional variety of birdlife in the Severn Estuary.

The former mill town of Nailsworth lies in the beautiful wooded Stroud Valley with events and festivals announced by the local Town Crier. It offers numerous high quality shops, a delicatessen, two butchers, an award-winning organic cafe, restaurants, art and antique galleries and a farmers’ market. Close by are Badminton and Gatcombe Park, famous for their horse trials, the historic wool village of Painswick and High Grove in royal Tetbury. The waterfront city of Gloucester, with its Victorian Docklands, is just a short drive away, whilst the town of Cirencester, known as 'The Gateway to the Cotswolds' offers many ancient buildings and museums, and the spa town of Cheltenham boasts Georgian architecture and the Gold Cup horse race. A perfect base for enjoying this unspoilt part of England.
