Kids love climbing! Far Peak Climbing Centre in Northleach is a superb climbing facility, offering indoor climbing and bouldering for all ages and abilities and outdoor climbing on a 15m tower set within the surrounding woodlands. The centre is great for families and climbing enthusiasts alike and is open until dusk daily, with floodlit evening and night climbing sessions regularly on offer. There is a dedicated children’s climbing area suitable for those as young as 3 (as long as they fit a helmet) and a mini cave and slide to keep them amused for hours. There are also climbing pillars with loads of dedicated children’s climbs and routes set on four separate top ropes as well as challenges for the older climber. If you just want to go along and watch, you can view the action from the on-site cafe.
