Lavender Cottage, ETC 4 Stars is situated in a quiet and very beautiful part of the Cotswolds within close to the scenic Coln Valley. Half a mile from the cottage there is a delightful footpath that takes you to the village of Bibury where the famous Arlington Row belonging to the National Trust can be found. The cottage, which is attached to Lilac Cottage (sleeping three), provides a very high standard of self catering accommodation. There is a large enclosed garden laid to lawn and shrubs with a raised patio area. The cottage has ample parking for two cars and there are connecting gates between the two cottages.
ACCOMMODATION:
Sitting Room with wood burning stove, window seat with beautiful views, comfortable sofa and armchairs, parquet floor with carpet and rugs and colour TV with DVD player.
Dining / Kitchen, fitted kitchen cupboards, dining table and chairs with window seat, electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Utility Room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and downstairs WC. Rear hall with door to garden, hanging for coats and space for boots.
Upstairs:
Bedroom One, large double bedroom, with 5' bed, airing cupboard and washbasin. (Room for a cot or extra bed). Bedroom Two, twin bedroom with one bed raised in an alcove with storage space underneath.
Shower room with power shower, WC. and wash basin. Heated towel rail.
Night storage heating & electric radiators throughout, included in June, July and August, payable to owner otherwise. Barbecue. Garden furniture. Use of owner's tennis court by arrangement. Cot & high chair plus stairgate available.
Pets by arrangement. Friday changeover please. No Smokers.

Bibury is a classic Cotswold village that also includes a Trout farm, a country museum in the old Arlington Mill and a welcoming local pub called The Catherine Wheel.. Lechlade is a short drive away, with its boating on the River Thames. There is a water sports park at South Cerney and golf, riding and tennis are all available close by. Picturesque villages abound with many 'Olde Worlde' pubs and restaurants nestling in valleys.
